BSO DEERFIELD BEACH DETECTIVES ARREST TWO IN FISH MARKET BURGLARY

Broward Sheriff’s Office investigators following the trail of a group of suspects caught on surveillance video breaking into Pop’s Fish Market in Deerfield have two juvenile suspects in custody.

Detectives followed the trail of the Volkswagen Touareg seen on the Dec. 14 video and ended up at the doorstep of Rashard Wiggins, 16.  During an interview, Wiggins admitted that he and accomplice Rodney Brown, 17, participated in the crime.  Wiggins said he was the getaway driver.  The pair also said they burglarized the Subs, Subs, Subs in Pompano Beach on Dec. 20 and a third business in the Lighthouse Point. 

Wiggins and Brown were taken to the Juvenile Assessment Center facing three counts of burglary.

The investigation continues.
