Those attending the San Isidro Catholic Church Festival International 2002 in Pompano Beach this weekend will enjoy live entertainment, an array of Hispanic and international culinary delights, children activities, talent shows, contests, clowns, surprises and the opportunity to begin a rewarding professional career with the Broward Sheriff’s Office.

On Friday, November 8, 2002, and Saturday, November 9th, the Broward Sheriff's Office Department of Recruitment will participate in this spirited three-day festival that highlights the diversity and history of the city’s multicultural community. More than 4,000 are expected to take part in this 21 year-old San Isidro Church family tradition. The festival is a non-profit church event.

The BSO recruitment booth will be located on the NW corner of the church grounds. Those interested will have the opportunity to pickup an initial application for employment and speak to a recruiter who will explain the hiring process. The recruiter will also have information on BSO’s impressive employee benefit package and on our November 16th, 2002, special testing event.

Among other international countries, the following Central/ South American and Caribbean countries will be represented at the festival: Dominican Republic, Mexico, El Salvador, Puerto Rico, Argentina, Cuba, Peru, Panama, Venezuela, Colombia and Brazil.
