BSO SEARCHES FOR PARKLAND PEEPER

Date: March 24, 2014 & April 1, 2014                                    PIO Number: 14-4-10

Broward Sheriff’s Office Parkland detectives are searching for a Peeping Tom targeting Parkland residents in the communities of The Grand Cypress Estates and The Landings.

At 9:10 p.m. on March 24, Laura Drigo was shocked to find the silhouette of a man peeking into her bathroom window as she showered. Drigo tried to confront the man but the man had already fled. Drigo’s neighbor saw the man running from Drigo’s home. He is described as a white male, possibly in his late teens or early twenties, 5’10” tall with a thin athletic build. He was wearing dark shorts and a light zip-up hoodie. Security cameras captured the man walking around the victim’s property for over 45 minutes.

A week later, a similar incident was reported. At 10:25 p.m. on April 1, Lisa Ponczek heard noises as she slept and noticed a man standing outside her bedroom slider doors. She banged on the door, startling the man who fled the scene.

Anyone with information is asked to contact BSO Parkland Detective Juan Hierrezuelo at 954-509-1458 or Broward Crime Stoppers, anonymously, at 954-493-TIPS (8477) or www.browardcrimestoppers.org. Crime Stoppers will pay up to $3,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
