The coordinated criminals came ready to play the bad guys. They had matching ski masks and a plan of attack. One would hold the gun and get the cash while the other would round up any roaming customers.

Broward Sheriff’s Office robbery detectives need the public’s help to put the duo in a time out.

Just before 5 a.m. June 2, the suspects are seen on surveillance video putting on ski masks before entering the CVS Pharmacy at 2036 E. Atlantic Blvd. in Pompano Beach. The gunman approaches the cashier and, with a gun to her back, forces her to open the register. The other male suspect surveys the store and orders a woman to the ground.

Once the gunman has the cash in hand, the two suspects race out the store. Robbery detectives are not disclosing how much money was taken.

The male holding the gun wore a black long sleeve shirt, black shorts and black sneakers. He also had a black bag in hand. The second robber was also dressed in all black with a long sleeve shirt, pants and shoes. He sported a backpack and light-colored gloves.

Anyone with information is asked to contact BSO Robbery Detective Steven Hoover at 954-321-4209. If you wish to remain anonymous, contact Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS (8477) or online at Anonymous tips that lead to an arrest are eligible for a reward of up to $3,000.
