Description of Incident:

Broward Sheriff's Office robbery detectives are hoping to identify a suspect who stole an undisclosed amount of cash from a teller at a bank in Pompano Beach Tuesday morning.

The unidentified black male entered the SouthTrust bank at approximately 9:30 a.m. After approaching one of the tellers, he handed the bank employee two $1 bills and asked for change. The suspect took the change then demanded the teller fill his plastic bag with cash. The suspect fled the scene, possibly on foot. No weapon was seen, and no injuries were reported.

The unidentified man is believed to be about six feet two inches tall with a medium build, clean-shaven and in his 30’s. He was last seen wearing a short sleeved checkered button down shirt with collar and stone washed tight jean pants with a white baseball cap and sunglasses with a gold rim.
