TRAFFIC ENFORCEMENT OPERATION AND CLUB GIVE-A-WAY

Broward Sheriff’s Office District 4 deputies will conduct a traffic checkpoint operation per the above listed times and location. Vehicles will also be inspected for defective safety equipment and motorists will be asked to show their drivers license, registration, and proof of insurance.

In addition to the vehicle safety checkpoint, BSO deputies will be offering Club steering wheel locking devices to motorists who own cars listed on the top 5 most stolen list (Toyota Camry, Honda Civic and Accord, Oldsmobile Cutlass, and Jeep Cherokee).

This news release is being issued in compliance with a Supreme Court ruling mandating prior announcement of selective enforcement activities.
