Description of Incident:

Armed robbers stole a gold chain, cell phone and wallet from a West Park man as he picked fruit in his own yard.

A West Park resident was picking avocados in his yard at 11:50 a.m. on September 20, when he was approached by an armed robber. The unidentified thief with shoulder-length dreadlocks said, “Gimme the gold,” and then snatched the victim’s gold chain from his neck. The robber also took the victim’s cell phone and wallet.

The unidentified man was seen traveling in a 1990’s Toyota Camry with tinted windows. The vehicle was captured on surveillance video as it dropped off the robber and another unidentified man, both with handguns. The men were also captured on video walking up and down the street. The two suspects were later seen as they ran towards the Toyota and then quickly drove away.
