DOMESTIC SECURITY TASK FORCE MEASURES PROGRESS 6 MONTHS AFTER TERRORIST ATTACKS

The Southeast Regional Domestic Security Task Force will hear progress reports from its sub-committees, six months after the terrorist attacks, at tomorrow’s meeting in West Palm Beach.
Due to law enforcement sensitivities, the meeting will be closed to the public. However at noon, Task Force Co-Chairs Broward Sheriff Ken Jenne and FDLE Director Doyle Jourdan, along with Palm Beach County Sheriff Ed Bieluch, will be available to answer media questions.
The Southeast Regional Domestic Security Task Force is one of seven task forces statewide. Local, state and federal law enforcement agencies in Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach and Monroe Counties are participants, along with fire-rescue, medical and other emergency preparedness officials.
