America’s Most Wanted Feature

On Friday, August 31st, America’s Most Wanted (AMW) will feature two cases investigated by the Broward Sheriff’s Office. The first is the case of Isaac Amos – wanted for attempted murder after he savagely beat a woman outside of a supermarket in Lauderhill, FL. Sheriff Al Lamberti profiled the case on AMW back in February 2012. We are proud to announce that Amos was captured by our agency’s Fugitive Unit as a direct result of an alert viewer who saw the show. This Friday, AMW will feature a re-enactment of the Amos case, which is capture #1193 for the show.

The second case featured this Friday on AMW is that of murdered teen Marissa Karp. Marissa’s body was found dumped in a canal off Alligator Alley 10 years ago. Host John Walsh and Marissa’s father, Gary Karp, will make a public plea for information to put her killer behind bars and offer insight into what may have happened to Marissa. Anyone with information regarding Marissa Karp’s murder is encouraged to call AMW at 800.CRIME.TV or Broward Crime Stoppers at 954.493.TIPS.

AMW is on Friday nights at 9 PM on the Lifetime Network. Lifetime can be viewed on the following channels in South Florida: Comcast Xfinity CH: 61; Dish Network CH: 108; AT&T U-Verse CH: 360; Direct TV CH: 252 and Advanced Cable CH: 51.
