Two thieves somehow managed to keep several cartons of smokes in their pants, but not out of the view of surveillance cameras. The pair was spotted walking into the RaceTrac gas station at the above location around 4:30 p.m. March 11. The men got ahold of the key that opens the cigarette case and are seen making several trips as they steal 28 cartons of Newport Cigarettes valued at almost $1,500.

Detectives made contact with the owner of the commercial van used as the getaway vehicle, but have been unable to identify the two suspects.

Anyone who recognizes the men or has information about the theft is asked to contact BSO Detective Phillip Love at 954-985-1953, ext. 230 or Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS (8477). Tips can be submitted online at www.browardcrimestoppers.org.
