Sheriff Al Lamberti Hosts Town Hall Meeting
Everyday Broward County residents hear about incidents and stories that can cause concern about the safety of our neighborhoods, crime and crime trends and what is being done to keep our communities safe. Join Sheriff Al Lamberti this Thursday as he talks to Oakland Park residents about these and many other topics at a town hall meeting.
Date: May 17, 2012
Time: 7:00 p.m.
Location: North Andrews Gardens Community Center,
250 NE 56 Court Oakland Park, Florida
The topics of discussion will include crime in Oakland Park neighborhoods, burglaries to residences and vehicles and what residents can do to protect themselves, the tell-tale signs of gang activity, how to report it and what happens once the information is in the hands of BSO detectives, how to deal with solicitors and how you can become part of the Citizens Observer Patrol.
The Sheriff will speak about new initiatives at the Broward Sheriff’s Office and wants to hear from you about your issues and concerns.
This town hall meeting is being presented by BSO in cooperation with the North Andrews Neighborhood Association (NANA).
