SPECIAL PEOPLE, SPECIAL OLYMPICS
Broward Sheriff's Office deputies will trade in their uniforms for aprons this month, as they work to raise money for a worthy cause.
On Friday, April 5, 2002, deputies will take part in the annual “Red Lobster
Tip-A-Cop” program in which deputies help Special Olympics athletes by waiting tables and working for tips. The money raised will go directly to Special Olympics, Broward
The “Red Lobster Tip-A-Cop Day” participating restaurants and times are:
5950 N. Federal Highway
10:30 am – 4:00 pm
Prospect Road & North State Road 7
11:00 am – 2:00 pm
Last year, they raised more than $3,000.00 for children and adults in our community with developmental disabilities.
Stop by a participating Red Lobster restaurant on Friday, April 5th and help support a very worthy cause.
