DETECTIVES RELEASE SKETCH OF STABBING SUSPECT

Broward Sheriff’s Office detectives are seeking the public’s help locating a man who stabbed a woman multiple times on April 14 outside a Pompano Beach apartment building.  From her hospital bed, the woman was able to provide a detailed description of her attacker, hoping to aid in his capture.

BSO units were dispatched around 3:34 a.m. to 620 NW 8th Ave.  The responding deputy found a trail of blood from the parking lot to the door of apartment nine.  There, he located the female victim suffering from multiple stab wounds.  According to the victim, she got into a man’s car in the 700 block of Hammondville Road. and he drove to this apartment building and attacked her.  Pompano Beach Fire Rescue transported her to North Broward Medical Center with serious injuries.  She has since been released.

The suspect is a Hispanic male, around 30 years old, with short, black hair, either a goatee or a trimmed beard and has tattoos covering the majority of his right arm.  The suspect fled the area in a black, four-door vehicle.
