Description of Incident:

Broward Sheriff’s Office detectives are seeking the public’s help in identifying two bicycle-riding thieves who upgraded their rides by stealing a $50,000 pickup from a house in Parkland.

At approximately 12:05 a.m. June 11, Craig Rosen parked his white 2013 Ford F-150 pickup in the driveway of his home in the 6700 block of Northwest 66 Way in Parkland. He walked away with the doors unlocked and the keys inside.

At 12:51 a.m. two males on bicycles entered the property through an unlocked gate. One wore a gray hoodie and sandals and the other wore a dark sleeveless shirt. The unidentified males entered the truck through the front doors, stayed inside for about a minute and rode away on their bicycles.

Surveillance video captured the same individuals when they returned at 2:19 a.m., placed their bicycles in the bed of the pickup and drove away. The F-150 was recovered the next day in Homestead.

The thieves also got away with Rosen’s wallet that was in his vehicle. One of Rosen’s credit cards was used to make a purchase at a gas station in Miami-Dade County.

Anyone with information regarding the identity of the suspects is asked to call BSO Parkland Det. Tony Hierrezuelo at (954) 753-5050 or contact Broward Crime Stoppers, anonymously at 954-493-TIPS (8477) or www.browardcrimestoppers.org. Crime Stoppers will pay up to $3,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
