This is the perfect opportunity for everyone in the community to gather their no longer needed personal documents, bank and credit card statements credit card offers, receipts, and any other material that contains sensitive personal data and shred them!
“We know not everyone has a way to dispose of these papers in a safe way, but that shouldn’t be the reason why they fall victim to the crime of identity theft,” said Sheriff Al Lamberti. “We want the public to educate themselves, and to learn how to keep their personal information out of the hands of identity thieves.”
There will be a limit of five boxes per resident. For more information, please call 954-321-4100.
