Description of Incident:

The Broward Sheriff's Office Robbery Unit is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect, who was caught on tape robbing a convenience store clerk at a gas station in Pompano Beach.

Shortly after 11 p.m. on September 17th, the white male suspect entered the Marathon Gas Station, located at 498 South Cypress Road. The unidentified male asked the clerk for a pack of cigarettes before pulling a small revolver from the waistband of his long baggy blue jeans. The suspect then approached the clerk and demanded all of the money from the cash register.

Without harming the clerk, the suspect fled the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect is believed to be in his late teens, about five feet nine inches tall and approximately 170 pounds.
