Halloween Safety Fair at Tequesta Trace Park

What: Ghosts and goblins and other trick or treaters are sure to have a howling good time at the Broward Sheriff's District 8’s (Weston / Southwest Ranches) annual Halloween Safety Fair tomorrow night. The event is free and open to the public. Come listen to a DJ spin some of your favorite tunes or peruse various exhibits from BSO’s Aviation, Mounted, Marine Patrol, and Crime Scene units, as well as view demonstrations by BSO’s K-9 unit and SWAT team. Don’t forget to enter the youngsters in the costume contest.

Not wanting to miss out on the fun, U.S. Customs will be showing off a Blackhawk helicopter and speedboat. Also participating is Broward County Fire Rescue’s Tactical Response team.

In addition to other informative exhibits, Majic 102.7 will be on hand to help keep those attending entertained. Candy and other goodies will be handed out. And anyone feeling lucky will be invited to spin the “Majic” wheel for fun prizes.
