AGGRESSIVE DRIVING SQUAD HITS THE HIGHWAYS

COUNTYWIDE BLITZ AIMED AT SAFETY ON THE ROADS

TRAFFIC ENFORCEMENT
WHEN: 8 p.m. – midnight Friday, November 22
WHERE: Starting from Ron Cochran Public Safety Building
2601 W. Broward Blvd., Ft. Lauderdale


The Broward Sheriff’s Office is teaming up with the Florida Highway Patrol and police departments from all over Broward for traffic enforcement leading into the Thanksgiving holiday period.


The Mutli-agency Aggressive Driving Task Force will saturate highways in Broward County to look for aggressive drivers and enforce traffic laws to promote safety on the roads. In addition to BSO and FHP, other participating agencies include Coral Springs, Coconut Creek, Davie and Plantation police departments.


Deputies, troopers and officers will be enforcing moving violations, speeding, reckless drivers, move over law violators and impaired drivers.
