Deputy Paul Rein was shot and killed while conducting a prisoner transport on the morning of November 7, 2007. These condolences are a tribute to his memory.

When I first came to BSO my second day on the job I met Paul. He made me feel like I was part of the BSO family without any effort. He was the type of person that even though you just met, he made you feel like you've known him for years. Truly "A Friend to All". I'll miss you Paul. God Bless You & Your Family.
