Deputy Robert Milligan

September 26, 1924 - August 12, 1978

Deputy Robert Milligan joined the Broward Sheriff's Office in 1976 as a civil deputy following 25 years of service with the Hollywood, Florida Police Department. On August 9, 1978 while serving an eviction notice in Lauderhill, Deputy Milligan sustained a gunshot wound and died 3 days later.

Deputy Milligan attended high school in Hollywood and served his country in the United States Army.
