Safety Alerts
The Department of Fire Rescue and Emergency Services has developed three new levels of safety alerts for all fire rescue providers within Broward County. The goal is to improve communication and dissemination of safety information to all agency members, mutual aid and auto aid responders.
The three levels of Safety Alerts:
- Safety Warning (Red) - Immediate action, poses an imminent threat to life of property.
- Safety Advisory (Green) - Precautionary action required to avoid an unsafe act.
- Safety Bulletin (Black) - Information from a factual confirmation of a serious incident, PIA
