2012 Extrication Competition
On May 11-13 2012, Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue will host an Extrication Competition and Seminar in conjunction with the First There First Care Conference hosted by the Fire Chiefs Association of Broward and the Broward County Regional EMS Council To register, download and mail in the registration form. Schedule of Events:
May 11th: Extrication Seminar
Entrance to the extrication seminar is free, but space is limited so please register early! Please e-mail courtney_palmer@sheriff.org and provide the names of all personnel attending from your agency.
May 12th & 13th: Extrication Competition
The two-day extrication competition will be held at Bass Pro Shops: 300 Gulf Stream Way, Dania Beach, FL 33004. There will be a total of 12 teams competiting from various fire departments throughout the state of Florida. Teams will compete in a series of extrication scenarios. The winner will receive a special gift package and will be announced during a special awards reception on May 13th.
May 13th: Awards Reception
Entrance to the Awards Reception is included with team registration. All participants are encouraged to attend. The reception will be held at the IGFA Hall of Fame, next to Bass Pro Shops beginning at 6 p.m.
