Senior Citizens Academy

Senior Citizens are the fastest growing segment of our population and that growth can also mean an increased likelihood of crime. BSO's Senior Citizens Academy helps Broward's senior population reduce the possibility of crime and improves quality of life.

From home security to defensive driving and from elder abuse to fraud prevention, BSO's Senior Citizens Academy serves as a vehicle for law enforcement professionals to share their experience and knowledge.

The Academy is a 16-hour course that meets for eight weeks, two hours a week. The course is offered three times each year. Best of all, the entire program is free!
