Fire Rescue Operations
In addition to fire suppression and EMS service, the Department of Fire Rescue's operations include arson investigation, proactive fire safety inspections, fire code enforcement, public education and other services targeted to prevent accident and injury by raising public awareness of potential fire hazards and by identifying non-compliant situations.
The department also administers the Fire Rescue Regional Logistics unit which supplies most fire departments in Broward County with operational supplies and equipment through an online catalog and order-placing system.
