As soon as the victim crossed paths with the suspects, her Spidey senses kicked in. Before she could act, one of the robbers grabbed her purse. Now, Broward Sheriff's Office detectives are releasing surveillance video of the suspects in the hopes that they can be identified.

It was around 6 p.m. Dec. 4, when the 48-year-old victim was walking from her job to her car at a Pompano Beach complex in the 2100 block of Southwest Second Street. The male suspects were walking north on the west side of the complex toward Southwest Second Street when they passed the victim. As the victim turned to see if the group of four to five males had left the area, she was met with a demand for her purse. During the struggle for her bag, she fell and the contents of her purse tumbled out. One of the suspects punched and kicked her several times in her head and torso before leaving with her Samsung Galaxy 3 cellphone.

The male suspects appear to be in their late teens. The attacker is about 5 feet 9 inches with a thin build and short hair. He wore a red T-shirt. All the other suspects are described as being shorter than 5 feet 9 inches and having short hair. One of them had on a white T-shirt.

Anyone with information is asked to contact BSO Det. Robert Sokol at 954-321-4200 or Broward Crime Stoppers, anonymously, at 954-493-TIPS (8477) or Anonymous tips that lead to an arrest are eligible for a reward of up to $3,000.
