Description of Incident:
Broward Sheriff's Office homicide detectives have arrested another person involved in the death of a man found inside a burning car.
Johntavis McCoe, 26, was taken into custody in Miami on Nov. 21 and faces a charge of first degree murder. Rougiena Deriveire, 18, was arrested for her involvement in the crime on Nov. 18.
Darren Butler's body was discovered around 5 a.m. Nov. 14 when BSO deputies responded to a car on fire at Bicentennial Park, 6100 Kimberly Blvd. When the flames were extinguished by North Lauderdale Fire Rescue, the 27-year-old's body was discovered in the car. Initially, his name was withheld until he could be positively identified.
The homicide investigation continues.
