Description of Incident:

A fourth person has died following the November 29 collision between two cars in Pompano Beach.

The latest victim, who passed away Friday at Broward Health North is David Koenig, 93.

At around 5:30 p.m. November 29, Koenig was driving his silver Acura north on Oasis Drive, approaching West Atlantic Boulevard.  Once at the intersection, he began making a left-hand turn onto the westbound lanes.  Murat Oral, 49, was heading eastbound on West Atlantic Boulevard in a grey Mercedes-Benz and broadsided Koenig's vehicle.

Everyone in the Acura died from their injuries.  Joan Tucker, 78, was pronounced dead at the scene. Pompano Beach Fire Rescue transported Sheila Hauser, 82, to Northwest Medical Center in Margate, where she was pronounced dead.  Leon Hauser, 85, and David Koenig, 93, were taken to Broward Health North. Leon, died early Thursday morning and Koenig died Friday.    

Murat Oral, 49, and Leah Oral, 9, were also taken to Broward Health North.  Leah was treated and released. At last check, Murat was stable.

The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
