DETECTIVES ID WORKERS INJURED IN LIGHTNING STRIKE

Alfonzo Lopez Ordonez, in his 20s, Palm Beach County
Broward Sheriff's Office homicide detectives are releasing the names of the two survivors of Wednesday's lightning strike as their investigation into Maria Pascual's death continues.
At 2:10 p.m. May 16, Pascual was working in the fields at C.W. Hendrix Farms, 12210 Loxahatchee Road, in Parkland when she was felled by lightning. Blanca Alvarenga, who is in her 40s, and Alfonzo Ordonez, who is in his 20s, suffered lightning-related injuries.
Coral Springs Parkland Fire Rescue responded and transported Ordonez to Broward Health North. Alvarenga showed up at JFK Medical Center.
Pascual was taken to Coral Springs Medical Center by Coral Springs Parkland Fire Rescue who pronounced her dead.
