Date: Nov. 7, 2018

Time: 3:06 p.m.

Jurisdiction: Cooper City

Place of Occurrence: 5200 block of Southwest 100th Avenue, Cooper City

Victim(s): State of Florida

Suspect(s): Pedro Rivera Raymundo, 30, male, 4/7/88, at large in Hollywood

Description of Incident:

A 30-year-old man exposed his genital to a 14-year-old girl while she was walking in Cooper City, and Broward Sheriff’s Office detectives believe there may be other victims.

Around 3 p.m. Nov. 7, the child was walking in the 5200 block of Southwest 100th Avenue when Pedro Rivera Raymundo stopped his car near her and asked for directions. After the victim told him that she couldn’t help him, Raymundo unzipped his pants and exposed his penis. When the suspect drove away, the teenager was able to get the license plate number of the car, a dark blue 2008 Lexus. A countywide alert was sent to law enforcement agencies describing the vehicle and suspect.

Through an investigation, BSO Cooper City Det. Christopher Neves identified Raymundo as the suspect. He was arrested on Nov. 12. Raymundo faces a charge of Lewd and Lascivious Exhibition. Further investigation led to a second charge on Nov. 14 of Indecent Exposure of Sexual Organs for an incident on Oct. 7, 2017 in Dania Beach.

Detectives believe Raymundo, who also goes by Peter, may have committed similar acts on unknown victims.

Anyone who believes Raymundo victimized them should contact Cooper City Det. Christopher Neves at 954-435-2200 Ext. 275.

MEDIA NOTE: Pedro Raymundo’s booking photo and probable cause from his Nov. 12, 2018 arrest are available on our website, sheriff.org. You may still have bond court video from that arrest.
